There is a wide variety of accommodation options on Thong Nai Pan Noi and Thong Nai Pan Yai beaches. There still remain the cheaper beach bungalows but in many cases they have been upgraded to include bathrooms and air-con. There are hotel style rooms available at Panviman, Santhiya and Havana Resort. There are also luxury bungalows with private pools and jacuzzis at Panviman and Santhiya Resort.

There are a few mid-range options such as Thong Tapan Resort, Dreamland Resort, Central Cottages and Starlight Resort. The latest addition to the places to stay is the Ras Nan Da on Thong Nai Pan Noi, which is a collection of luxury 2 storey villas with swimming pools directly on the beach.

Over the past 5 or so years the focus of Thong Nai Pan has moved away from providing cheap places for backpackers to stay to providing more 'up-market' accommodation suitable for honeymooners and families. Thong Nai Pan Noi still has a good nightlife but the emphasis has moved away from regular parties. The Jungle Bar remains but the Hideaway has been torn down.

The roads in both Thong Nai Pan Noi and Thong Nai Pan Yai villages are concreted. Both villages have ATM machines, travel agents, shops, restaurants, bars and places to hire motorbikes. The road between Ban Tai and the Thong Nai Pan area is now virtually all paved.

It is hoped that with sensible management the Thong Nai Pan area will maintain its laid back, friendly atmosphere while at the same time modernising with a minimal impact to the environment.
